Two Truths and One Lie – Fun Variation 🎭

We play a YES/NO game where the tutor asks questions and each child includes one fake answer among their responses.
If there are 3 questions, then the game becomes “Two Truths and One Lie.”
The rest of the group tries to guess which answer is the lie!

✨ The questions can also be inspired by the news or highlights of the week.

Name, Animal, Object – Fantasy Edition 🦸‍♂️🐉

Children choose:

  • a name,

  • an animal,

  • and an object

with imaginative or fantasy elements.

Example:

  • Name = Superman

  • Animal = Flying Tiger

  • Object = Invisible Backpack

Name, Animal, Object – Feelings Edition 💛

Children find:

  • a feeling,

  • an animal,

  • or an object

starting with a specific letter.

Example:

“Find an emotion that starts with the letter A.”

✨ You can also allow the children to create and choose their own categories.

Object Observation & Weekly News 👀

Children share news from their week using objects they can see around them.

Example:

“I see baby wipes next to me, and it reminds me that today I got on a very dirty bus and wished I had wipes with me!”

This activity boosts:

  • creativity,

  • storytelling,

  • and observation skills.

Story Chain News 🗣️

Each child shares their news by connecting it to what the previous child said.

This activity strengthens:

  • active listening,

  • focus,

  • and group connection.

Act It Out & Teach Us Your Crazy Skill 🎭

Children do a mini pantomime and teach the group a fun or unique skill.

Examples:

  • ballet move,

  • football shot,

  • dance trick,

  • funny pose.

Then the whole group tries to imitate them!

Group Reflection Time 💬

In small groups, children discuss:

“What is one thing you are taking away from today’s lesson?”

Perfect for reflection and connection.

Emotion Through the Environment 🌤️

Children describe how they feel based on images or things they see around them.

Example:

  • the weather outside the window,

  • objects in the room,

  • sounds around them.

This helps develop:

  • emotional awareness,

  • creativity,

  • and self-expression.

One Word from a Picture 📸

Show the group a photo and ask:

“What is the first word that comes to your mind when you see this image?”

This activity encourages:

  • imagination,

  • emotional expression,

  • and spontaneous thinking.
