During your first meeting with students, it is important to explain the importance of experience points (XP) on the Morphoses platform.

Here are steps and suggestions on how you can do this:

1. Introduce Experience Points (XP): state what XP is:

  • Leverage this presentation and start by explaining that XP are points that can be earned through participation and interaction on the platform.

  • Give examples to help children understand it better, such as how it is similar to points they earn in their favorite games.

2. The Importance of XP: Explain why they are useful?

  • Emphasize the fact that XP points are shown on their profile and that the more points they accumulate, the more they level up and gain achievements.

  • Emphasize that they can show off their points and achievements to their peers.

3. How to Collect XP: Give specific instructions for collecting them.

Explain how they can earn XP through different actions:

  • Evaluation of activities: after the end of each activity they will be shown some emoji to evaluate how well they did/ if they liked it. Attention. They will have little time, so motivate them to be quick and ready for when the question appears (20 XP).

  • Evaluate each session: at the end of each lesson, students evaluate their level of participation in the lesson (50 XP).

  • Registration in a new class: After your program is complete, encourage them to enroll in a new program to continue their educational journey, whether or not they keep the same group you created (50 XP).

  • Receive a certificate: At the end of each program, students can download their certificate (100 XP).

At the same time, the parents' side can equally give extra points to each child individually by carrying out certain actions. Indicatively:

Evaluation of the parents themselves in each lesson and after the end of each program: Parents can share their feedback by answering specific questions about their children's impressions of each session, giving them an additional 25 XPs, as well as provide feedback on their child's overall experience after the end of a program, earning 200 additional points.

Parents are informed about the above actions by the Morphoses team, but it is important that the instructors are aware of them in case the students ask them.

4. Encourage interaction:

  • Invite students to ask questions about the XP system.

  • In subsequent lessons, you can have a short discussion with students about the points they have accumulated and what their experience has been so far.

  • At the end of the presentation, make sure students fully understand the process and importance of XP.
