The Classroom Conference Room is the virtual space where both learners and tutors participate in Morphoses sessions. It’s the core area for interaction, activities, and video conferencing during the session. You can access the Classroom Conference Room by pressing the "Join now" button from the home page, class page, or session page. Below is a description of the key features with specific details for tutors.

Mood Check

When learners enter the class, they are asked to select their mood from the following options: Sad, Tired, Neutral, Happy, or Excited. This information is visible only to you as the tutor and is displayed next to the learner’s name in the Learners tab. This feature helps you gauge the emotional state of each learner and adjust your approach accordingly.

Learners Tab

In the Learners tab, you can see a list of all learners in the session, along with their engagement with Morphoses, represented as XP (experience points). You can click on each learner’s link, under their name, for more detailed information about their profile. The learner’s selected mood is also displayed here next to their name.

Chat (Text, Emojis, and Raise Hand)

The chat feature is available throughout the session and can be used by all participants. Learners can use the emoji button to send emojis or raise their hand to signal they have a question or need assistance.

Activities (Instructions and Content)

The Activities button gives you access to the list of activities planned for the current session, along with the name and the soft skill targeted by each activity. You can view the instructions and content for each activity and control whether to start, complete, or skip activities.

By pressing the play button next to each Content under each activity, the content will open in a new tab. Use Share Screen to share this new tab with learners. Only tutors have access to the Share Screen feature.

At the beginning of the session, when you click Start Session, the first activity automatically begins. By pressing the check mark, you complete an activity, and the activity review is triggered. After 10 seconds, the review ends, and the next activity starts automatically.

A timer is automatically triggered when each activity starts, allowing you to manage the session’s pacing effectively. The timer does not have a time limit; it only represents the elapsed time.

Activity Review

After each activity, learners are given 10 seconds to rate the activity with up to 5 stars. During this period, you will see only a timer, reminding you to prompt learners to provide their feedback before moving on.

Absences

In the Learners tab, next to each learner's name, you will find a checkbox for marking attendance. If a learner was present, tick the box. If they were absent, leave the checkbox empty and input the reason for the absence. This information helps you keep accurate records and ensures that learners are properly monitored.

Session Review

At the end of each session, both you and the learners will be prompted (with a pop-up) to answer a few questions about participation and the application of soft skills covered in the activities. Additionally, there may be custom questions relevant to the specific session.

Troubleshoot Button

If any technical issues arise during the session, clicking the Troubleshoot button will direct you to the Morphoses Wiki, specifically the Session troubleshooting tips for parents page, where you can find solutions to common problems.
